Program Description

Event Details

The Broken Bow Library is hosting its second annual Science Fair for home-school children.  We will have divisions for k-2nd grade level, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 grade.  Students can choose their own topic, guided by parents, and are expected to provide a visual display explaining their experiment.  The Science Fair is designed to provide home-school students with the opportunity to showcase what they are learning in science and learn to present in front of their peers and adults in a formal setting.  Please make sure your presentation is complete, neat, organized and details your experiment and what you learned.  Tri-fold boards or poster materials are acceptable and there are electrical outlets available if needed.  The presenters will be judged by a local science teacher and awards will be presented to each of the above age groups.  Please contact the library if you have questions.
