ESports at the Coal County Library!

Mother Goose Lapsit is an interactive program for ages 3 and under that focuses on early literacy skills through stories, nursery rhymes, finger-plays, movement, songs, music, and more. 

The public library's adult craft program is a haven for creativity. Participants, guided by skilled instructors, delve into diverse projects, fostering a sense of community and artistic expression.

The public library offers a dynamic senior fitness program, fostering health and community engagement. Tailored for seniors, it combines low-impact exercises, flexibility training, and social activities.

This week our adventure theme is "Close to Home." We'll have "S'MORE" fun at the library when you join us Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10 AM to sing, dance, and listen to stories! 

Each Tuesday and Thursday at 10 AM we have Exercise for all ages.  Come and join us for an hour of fun and stretching.  Nothing is to hard.  

Teens can delve into the realms of art and chemistry with a STEAM activity of creating shrinky dinks, transforming ordinary plastic sheets into miniature masterpieces through the magic of heat and molecular rearrangement.

Embark on an adventure with Gary Ray Howell as he takes us on a journey with his ventriloquist talents and magic tricks!

Join us every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. to experience the joy of reading & creating together. Each week combines a captivating book with a corresponding craft activity, fostering a love for reading and creativity in children.

Crystal Constellations and Stars!
Lets get crafty and make crystalized stars from pipecleaners and borax.

Join us for Adventures Around Europe where we will explore the diverse countries of Europe through crafts, cooking activities, stories, and games.

.Children will make camp pictures with paper plates to have the appearance of a camp site for both day and night.

The adventure continues at the library. We will have a pajama story time and make S'mores. Who knows? We may even go on a bear hunt.

If you like to color come and join us at the library.  Every Thursday at 2 PM we have an hour of coloring and we furnish everything.  Come check us out.  

Our adventure continues with going on an excavation. We will be digging for gem stones. This program will have limited supplies and is for children 6 yrs --- 10 years old.

We are having an adult crafts program and everyone is welcome.  Come on down to the library and check us out.  This month will be a beautiful memo holder made by using a mouse trap and magnets.

Helping the community utilizing technology, filling out online forms, and using new phones and devices. Group discussions about online library services and scheduled one-on-one help with devices. 

Get ready to create an insect at our Summer Reading Program "Camp Read S'more" Week 5!

Teens will have the option to use a variety of items such as straws, regular paper and newspapers to build the Eiffel Tower and figure out what building material works the best. 

Children will work alone or in teams in this family STEM project to construct a paper bridge.  Who will build the strongest one?
