About the Library

The Mattie Terry Public Library has been open to the people of Valliant since January of 1998. We are a very small rural town and the community is very close.

We offer many children and teen programs throughout the year and have a big Summer Reading Program in the summer. We also offer a number of adult programs throughout the year. We have a meeting room open to the public. All of the programs we offer at the library are free to the public and open to everyone.

We function as the main source of free wireless internet and public computer usage in the community. In addition to providing all SEOLS services, we also offer test proctoring on a by appointment basis.
