In this Backyard Explorers session, participants will learn how to identify common local birds, understand their behaviors, and discover what makes each species unique. We’ll explore topics such as bird feeding, migration patterns, and the important roles birds play in our ecosystems.

By the end of the program, families will be equipped to participate in citizen science activities like the Great Backyard Bird Count, helping contribute to real scientific research—all from their own backyard.
