Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Get ready to blow, splatter, and create your own wild and wacky patriotic monster! In this fun and messy art program, we’ll use straws to blow red, white, and blue paint across a canvas, then add googly eyes to bring your one-of-a-kind creature to life! 

This isn’t just art—it’s science too! Learn how air pressure, force, and fluid dynamics work while creating a unique patriotic masterpiece!
