Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Ever wanted to reverse tie-dye? In this bold and creative workshop, we’ll use bleach to strip color from a black T-shirt, revealing striking faded patterns—then bring it back to life with vibrant red and blue tie-dye!

This isn’t just art—it’s chemistry in action! Watch as color disappears, fabric transforms, and new hues take over, making each shirt 100% unique to you!
