Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Enjoy a story and STEM activity. Get ready for a wild adventure in art that’s perfect for your little one! In this fun, hands-on program, toddlers will use their tiny fingers to create colorful animals and learn how to mix colors to bring their creatures to life! 

It’s a sensory-rich experience that helps develop fine motor skills while your child creates their own colorful masterpieces! 

This activity/program is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Services and Technology Grant, and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
