Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Program Description

Let’s celebrate with color and create a firework explosion on paper! In this hands-on art program, toddlers will use paper roll stamps to make bright, bold fireworks on black paper using red, white, and blue paint! 

This tactile and creative activity helps toddlers strengthen hand coordination, recognize colors, and experiment with patterns while having a blast with paint! 

This activity/program is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Services and Technology Grant, and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
