Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Event Details

Join us for a creative and colorful craft session where kids will turn ordinary rocks into adorable cactus "pet plants!" Using paint, googly eyes, and small pots, children will design and decorate their own cactus rock that never needs watering.

This fun and mess-friendly activity encourages imagination and creativity—and every child gets to take home a cute, spiky friend with lots of personality!

All materials provided. Recommended for ages 5 and up.
