Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Get ready for a hauntingly fun time! The library is teaming up with the Museum of the Red River for a Halloween Arts & Crafts event the whole family will love. Come dressed in costume and enjoy a creative afternoon full of spooky, silly, and spectacular crafts!  Calling all little ghosts, goblins, and creative kids!  It’s going to be a frightfully fun time filled with hands-on crafts, silly scares, and lots of imagination!
