From Leaf to Canvas: Exploring Plant Pigments

Did you know that the beautiful colors in leaves can be turned into paint?  In this activity, we’ll explore how pigments are hidden inside leaves and learn why they change color in the fall.  By extracting these natural pigments, we’ll create our own paints and use them to make artwork.  It’s a fun way to mix science and creativity—discovering the chemistry of plants while expressing yourself through art!
