Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Event Details

Story time for toddlers is a delightful and engaging activity where young children gather to listen to stories read aloud. It typically takes place in a cozy, welcoming environment like a library.

The experience is interactive, encouraging toddlers to participate by asking questions, making animal sounds, or repeating phrases. This not only makes the story more engaging but also helps in developing their listening and language skills. Story time often concludes with a related activity, like singing a song, doing a craft, or playing a game, making it a fun and educational experience for the children.
