Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Step into the Origami Playground—a freestyle paper-folding event just for teens! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned folder, come hang out at the library, explore the art of origami, and let your creativity take flight. We'll provide the materials—you bring your imagination and a willingness to fold, chat, and chill with others your age. No pressure, just paper, and possibilities!
