Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

We’re going to get creative and make our very own turtles using recycled egg cartons! These little critters are not only fun to make, but they also help us learn how to reuse everyday items to create something totally unique. We’ll paint, glue, and decorate our turtles—each one will have its own personality and flair. Let’s get ready to have some shell-tastic fun!
