The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.
This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.
We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!
Join us for a Silent Book Club in celebration of World Literacy Day! Bring your own book or check one out to enjoy quietly for an hour, and then we will have snacks and discuss our books for the last 30 minutes. Prepare for a delightful time of reading and camaraderie as we connect and share our passion for literature.
