Snowstorm in a Jar

Get into the holiday spirit while exploring a little bit of science magic! In this activity, we’ll create a festive Christmas scene inside a jar and then bring it to life using a fun chemical reaction.  By combining water, oil, paint, and an antacid tablet, we’ll see bubbles and movement that demonstrate how different liquids interact and how gas is formed during a reaction.  It’s a creative way to mix holiday crafting with hands-on science discovery!
