Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Come have a blast with us outside at The Coal County Library! We’ll be making colorful art and getting a little messy – in the best way possible! You can splatter paint to make awesome handprint art or use a straw to create some fun, unique pictures. It's all about creativity, so don’t be afraid to get your hands (and maybe even your clothes) a little messy.
