Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Get ready for BIG fun made just for little ones! Each week, we dive into a brand-new story filled with wonder, then bring it to life with an awesome craft your toddler will be proud of. This week, we'll dive into a beachy sensory storytime experience! Sun, Sand & Stories is an interactive program designed for children of all abilities. They'll be able to enjoy a summer-themed read-aloud story paired with hands-on sensory play. We'll listen to the sounds of the ocean, smell the scents of summer, build small castles in the sand, and sample ice cream that doesn't melt! No sunscreen is required because it's all done at the library! This program provides a structured yet flexible environment where children can explore at their own pace. Caregivers are encouraged to join in the fun!
