Unearth a Story: Summer Reading Crafternoon – Ancient Egypt Papyrus

Kids ages 6 and up are invited to a two-part Unearth a Story Summer Reading Crafternoon exploring Ancient Egypt! In this first session, participants will create their own “papyrus” paper, discovering how the ancient Egyptians made their writing and art materials.

This hands-on activity encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and an early appreciation for history. All materials will be provided—just bring curiosity and get ready to make a piece of history come to life!
