Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Using soft felt, buttons, and glue, participants will design and assemble their own colorful flowers that don't require water—perfect for decorations, gifts, or simply to brighten up any space! Whether you craft a single bloom or a whole bouquet, this fun and relaxing activity is a great way to explore creativity while working with colors and textures.

This activity is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Services and Technology Grant, and the Oklahoma Department of Libraries.
