Beginner’s Crochet

Origami is the art of folding paper, but it’s also STEM—each fold uses shapes, symmetry, and problem-solving. As we fold, we’ll see how simple shapes turn into something new.

Innovative Minds is a hands-on STEM program for teens. This session, participants will transform 2D templates into 3D shapes while exploring geometry and design.

Get hands-on and deliciously curious as we explore the science behind melting chocolate! Kids will learn how heat changes chocolate from solid to smooth and melty, discovering simple STEM concepts along the way.

Put your creativity and problem‑solving skills to the test! Participants will work to design and build a whimsical Rube Goldberg–style machine designed to trap a sneaky leprechaun.

 Join us for a relaxing 2 hours of crochet, knitting, embroidery, or any needlework you enjoy! Bring your current project or start something new in the company of fellow crafters. All skill levels welcome—beginners included!

Miss Julie will be showing teens/tweens how to make homemade Flubber from household ingredients. This is part of our Mad Science March experiments. 

Come and join us at the Creation Station.  Each week children will enjoy different crafts and other activities as well as a snack.  Some weeks kids will be doing a STEM Project.
