Ready, aim, launch! In this fun hands-on program, teens will build their own mini catapults and put them to the test by launching candy corn. Compete for distance and accuracy while learning a bit of physics and having a lot of laughs.

In honor of Veteran’s Day, teens will be creating handmade cards to share with McCurtain County Veterans as a way to show appreciation for their service.    

Each month the Choctaw Youth Advisory Board meets at the library and Marli tells them all about one of the database that  the library has to offer.  This month another new database will be demonstrated to the group..

The Idabel Fire Department will be visiting the library to give a special demonstration! Kids and families can learn about fire safety, explore the equipment, and meet our local heroes.”
