Let your imagination run wild in a fun and interactive program where children dive into the world of creativity! From painting and drawing to crafting and sculpture, kids will explore different art techniques while expressing their unique ideas.

Using Biomimicry, we will be making birds nests by mimicking nature.  We will provide different items that birds often use to build their own nests.  

Bring the kids in to make a Father's Day craft for that special someone in their life.  

🎨 Little Picassos: Squeegee Art Fun! 🖌️

Get ready to make your very own faux stained glass picture! Using shiny foil and colorful markers, you’ll create beautiful, vibrant designs that look just like real stained glass.

Join us for Masterpiece Storytime, where we’ll explore the life and work of a famous artist! This week, we’re diving into the world of modern art. After story time, stay for a hands-on craft session at 11:30 a.m.

How dirty can your toy car get?
Take your car for a spin through the mud, splash in the mess, and then roll on over to our sensory car wash to get it sparkling clean!

Discover the mesmerizing blend of science and creativity with pendulum painting! Participants will explore the physics of motion by creating abstract art using a swinging paint-filled pendulum.

Join us for Studio Time, where we’ll create our own art based on the work of a famous artist! This week, we’re diving into the world of modern art and will be painting our own canvases.

In this fun and colorful workshop, kids will design and decorate their very own  butterfly suncatchers to brighten up any area.

The program for this week  will be doing Magnet Painting.   This is sure to be an exciting program and super fun.  This will be a STEM Program.  This is science and some Art wrapped in a colorful package.

Guests will design a shape with colored glue, creating intersecting lines within. Once dry, they will use sharpies to color in the spots left behind creating a stained glass look.

Join us for a special virtual event with illustrator Hope Larson! In this interactive Zoom session, Hope will teach kids and teens the art of drawing graphic novels, sharing tips and techniques to bring their stories to life.

Guests will color a kite kit and assemble. They can test while at the library or take home to enjoy all summer long.

On the corner of Science Street and Art Avenue, there's a Sprout House! Join us to turn kitchen sponges into tiny little gardens of sprouts. 

Using nothing but paper, tape, and maybe a little glue, we will engineer our own mini city! Once built, we will test our structures to see if they can bear weight. 

Get ready for some epic fun with a Cardboard Box Fort! Grab some boxes, markers, and craft supplies to build your own imaginative fortress. Whether you design a castle, spaceship, or secret hideout, the possibilities are endless.
