Get crafty and help our feathered friends! Kids will make their very own wild bird feeders using bird seed, twine, cookie cutters, skewers, gelatin, and corn syrup.

Join us for a journey into the world of stories at our weekly Children's Storytime at the library! Perfect for children aged 4 to 12, this event will spark their imagination and love for reading.

Create your own winter wonderland in a bottle! In this relaxing and fun activity, participants will make a snowman-themed sensory bottle using glitter, water, and a few special ingredients.

Come and join us at the Creation Station.  Each week children will enjoy different crafts and other activities as well as a snack.  Some weeks kids will be doing a STEM Project.  This week will be a Beaded Snowflake Craft.

Watch colors come alive! Kids will explore the magic of bleeding art tissue paper to create one of a kind watercolor-style masterpieces. As they spritz and layer tissue, they’ll learn about color blending!

This week we’re creating snowflake wind chimes—a wintery craft that sparkles, jingles, and looks beautiful hanging at home!

Ages 6 and up are welcome to join the fun. Come craft something magical!

Get ready to create your own winter wonderland! Join us for Blizzards in a Bottle, a hands-on art program where kids will craft a swirling snowstorm they can take home. These bottles are a fan favorite, so don't miss out!

Pop Into Creativity! Come celebrate National Bubble Bath Day with Miss Ann during a bubbly STEM adventure at the Coal County Public Library! Kids will explore the science of bubbles and create colorful Bubble Art that’s bursting with fun.

Calling all young builders! Join our Builder's Club at the library, where creativity knows no bounds. Where mathematics, engineering, teamwork, and spatial awareness meet creativity and imagination with endless Lego-building possibilities!
