SEOLS Reading Centers offer a wide variety of services in smaller, far-flung communities where a full-service library isn’t always viable.
Each center is run by a volunteer staff proficient in assisting customers with their needs. Reading Centers provide book and materials checkout, research material, faxing services, public computers, and public printer, along with many free programs and activities such as summer reading programs, craft classes, and more. They also provide customers access to the wider SEOLS catalog, as our courier will deliver requested materials from other libraries.
Reading Centers often depend upon community residents or business leaders with a passion for libraries for a physical location, staffing, or additional funding.
SEOLS happily provides books and other materials for checkout, computers and other technology, copiers, Wi-Fi hotspots and tech support to our Reading Center locations.
