Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Get ready to experiment, explore, and get a little messy at the Bubble Trap Lab! In this exciting hands-on program, kids will mix baking soda and vinegar to create a fizzy chemical reaction—then try to trap the bubbles in mid-air using their breath and a few simple tools.

This is a great chance for kids to dive into the world of chemistry and motion with a fun twist—perfect for curious minds who love to explore!
