Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Event Details

Come and join us at the Creation Station.  Each week children will enjoy different crafts and other activities as well as a snack.  Some weeks kids will be doing a STEM Project.  For the first week in July all the kids will be making a Summer Reading Microscope.  Outdoor Explorer Heath Stanfield will be on hand to lead the STEM program.  This really sounds like a fun craft.  Come on down and take part.  .
