Exciting news! Crews have arrived at the Coalgate Library to begin upgrading our lighting to energy-efficient LED lights. This improvement will make the library brighter, more welcoming, and even more enjoyable for your visits!

Explore the art and science of building in our STEM Builders program! Kids will use a variety of paper types—cardstock, tissue, construction paper, and more—to design and create their own 3D sculptures. Along the way, they’ll learn about structure, balance, and engineering principles through hands-on experimentation and creativity.

From towering paper towers to creative creatures, this program is all about problem-solving, design thinking, and having fun with STEM. All materials provided—just bring your imagination! This program is for tweens and teens.
