Notice: Spiro Public Library Temporary Closure

The Spiro Public Library will be closed from Thursday, September 4th through Monday, September 15th as we prepare for exciting updates.

This week, we’ll be moving books and disassembling the old shelving. The library will also be getting a fresh coat of paint while the walls are empty. The new shelving is scheduled to arrive on Thursday, September 11th, and once the books are back in place, we’ll be ready to welcome you again the following week.

We appreciate your patience during this transformation and can’t wait for you to enjoy the refreshed, beautifully organized library!

Dive into a calming, hands‑on craft where participants create their own “sensory bottles” — sealed, liquid‑filled bottles that swirl with glitter, beads, and tiny trinkets. During the session we’ll:

Choose Your Theme – Pick colors, floating objects, and fragrances (optional) that match a mood: ocean calm, galaxy glow, sunny day, etc.

Build & Seal – Layer clear glue or glycerin, water, and add‑ins; then securely seal every bottle for leak‑free shaking.

All materials are supplied; just bring your creativity. The program is drop‑in friendly and perfect for families, and anyone curious about DIY sensory aids.
