Let your imagination run wild! Join us for a monster-themed storytime, then create your own paint splat monster using fun splatter techniques. Add eyes, arms, and other silly features to bring your monster to life.

We are having the kids help paint rocks to add to our rock garden snake that the littles have started.  Let us showcase your colorful creations during summer and afterwards the kids can pick up their rock and take it home with them.

Join us for an hour of moving and grooving with a little mingle in the middle.  Tuesday and Thursday are exercise days at the library.  Come on down to the library and join us.  Everyone is welcome and all ages are invited. 

Join Wiggle Worms for a fun-filled Chalk Drawing event with the McAlester Police Department! This interactive activity lets kids unleash their creativity while drawing colorful, vibrant designs on the pavement.

Experience a colorful storytime featuring lively and fun books, followed by a hands-on Watercolor Creations project! Little ones will get to explore the world of colors with watercolors and create their own masterpiece.

Discover the mesmerizing blend of science and creativity with pendulum painting! Participants will explore the physics of motion by creating abstract art using a swinging paint-filled pendulum.

Looking for a way to beat boredom, come on down to Bingo for seniors!!  Gather round to socialize and meet new Bingo loving friends here at the library.  Small prizes given to winners.

We will break/shave old crayons into molds of various shapes. Library staff will melt crayons in molds and place in freezer until solid. Kiddos will then pop out their crayons and use/take them home.

The speaker with the Choctaw Nation will be coming to the library and will offer a session on Child Abuse.  June is National Child Abuse Month.  Come on down to the library and join us. 

Program for this week the kids will be making a Inertia Zoom Bottle.   This is sure to be an exciting program and super fun.  This will be a STEM Program.
