STEM Join us for a hands-on STEM adventure at the library! Kids will explore the science behind bubbles and learn how to make giant bubbles using simple materials.

Let's get colorful with our slime making skills!!  Choose from assorted colors and add-ins to make your slime unique.  Wear clothing you don't mind getting messy in and let's have a slimy good time!!

Use your imagination and build your very own pair of cool glasses – using colorful building blocks! Whether you want to create the wackiest, most colorful glasses or a sleek, stylish design, the choice is all yours.

We will break/shave old crayons into molds of various shapes. Library staff will melt crayons in molds and place in freezer until solid. Kiddos will then pop out their crayons and use/take them home.

Program for this week the kids will be making a Inertia Zoom Bottle.   This is sure to be an exciting program and super fun.  This will be a STEM Program.

Paint string art is a fun and messy way to create beautiful designs using paint and string. But did you know that this activity also teaches us about physics and motion? Ms.

Mix paint and baking soda and dilute with water for a thinner consistency. Guests will then paint paper with a design they choose. When satisfied, they will drip vinegar onto the paper to create a neutralization reaction.

Patrons will plant their own miniature gardens to take home in honor of National Gardening Week. (June 1st - 7th) Teens.

STEM Unlock the mystery of secret codes in this hands-on STEM program for teens! Participants will learn about encryption and coding as they create their own secret code bracelets using beads and patterns to send hidden messages.

Get ready to zoom in on the tiny wonders hiding in your own backyard! In this hands-on program, young scientists will learn how to use microscopes to explore leaves, bugs, dirt, and more.
